About me

I'm an anaesthetist and intensive care specialist working at both the Gold Coast and Brisbane. My qualifications include MB BS QLD, FANZCA, and FCICM. You can view my AHPRA profile here.

After six years of medical school I spent many years as a junior doctor working in a variety of positions, including in rural aboriginal health.

I grew up in Brisbane the son of an accountant and a teacher. Three of my siblings are Medical Specialists, one of whom is also a Rhodes Scholar. I'm married and have three children, one a doctor.

I cycle and surf and played Premier Grade Rugby when young. I'm a Reds fan and committed rugby union tragic.
